About

A contract should still make sense to you in two years.

I spent eight years drafting for a commercial firm and two in-house at a software company before going out on my own in 2023. Every client works with me directly, and every document comes with a short note in plain English on what it does.

Questions

How fast is a contract review?

Most come back within three business days. If you have a deadline, say so when you send it.

What does a fixed fee cover?

The document, one round of changes and a short note explaining it. Anything beyond that is quoted first.

Can you use a template I found online?

Yes. Often the quickest route is fixing a template you already have.

Do we need to meet?

Not usually. Most clients email the documents and we talk by phone or video.

Do you do court work?

No. For a dispute that goes to court I'll refer you to a litigator I trust.

Got a contract on your desk?

Call, or email it through with your deadline. You'll have a fixed quote the same day.
